Amplifying a client’s expertise to make sure it reaches the right audience is part of the job. It’s especially important when their mission depends on a strong partnership with public officials. Achieving this sometimes drives us to think outside the box and take on initiatives that our clients have never done before.

The 2023 Philadelphia mayoral primary is on Tuesday, May 16. It’s a stacked field, with nine Democrats and David Oh as the sole Republican candidate on the ballot, all vying to be Philly’s 100th mayor.

There are often days where Ceisler Media staff members wake up early – very, very early – for client work, especially when it comes to morning TV coverage. In April this year, we worked with Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance (PFSA) in support of its annual blue ribbon-flag planting event in Harrisburg, where the client was speaking with several news stations as early as 5:30 a.m.

When I signed the offer letter to join Ceisler Media’s team as an intern for the spring 2023 semester, I realized this opportunity would distinguish itself from all my prior in experiences in one simple yet impactful way: it would be my first internship with an in-office component.
