Rebecca Patterson manages and develops digital and social web content for many Ceisler Media clients. With her public policy background and expertise in issues affecting the commonwealth, Rebecca often focuses on advocacy campaigns dealing with the state legislature. She shapes and clarifies messaging to help clients find their focus and achieve their goals across various platforms.
Before joining Ceisler Media’s Harrisburg team in 2019, Rebecca held several positions that showed off her legislative, policy analysis and communications skills. She served as manager of government and external affairs for Comcast from 2012 to 2016. In that role, she communicated Comcast’s aims to state and local officials, and also handled community outreach for programs such as the United Way, Comcast Cares Day and Internet Essentials. She also produced Comcast Newsmakers segments in the Harrisburg studio.
Rebecca worked nearly a decade for Pennsylvania Legislative Services in Harrisburg. She closely monitored the PA Legislature while managing the “Capitol Toolbox,” a web-based service that alerts clients with key updates of legislative activity. Rebecca covered House and Senate sessions, committee meetings and press conferences.
Most recently, Rebecca was marketing and strategic communications director for Lewis Strategic, LLC, focusing on advocacy, business development and social media marketing/communications for various clients and projects.
Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Penn State University. During her senior year, she completed the PA House Fellowship Program. She also graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College with an associate’s degree in general studies degree. Rebecca hails from New Jersey, but has spent most of her life in the Harrisburg area.
