Digital and Creative Services Internship

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an intern to join our Digital & Creative Services team. This role is ideal for an incoming third- or fourth-year student studying graphic design, communications, film/videography, social media or a related field. 

The Digital & Creative Services intern works directly with Ceisler Media employees and our clients to create authentic, compelling and clear visual messaging for nonprofits, Fortune 50 companies, grassroots coalitions and more. 

This is a hybrid position, with some time spent in our Philadelphia office. 

The Digital & Creative Services intern reports to the Director of Digital Strategy and assists with projects led by our Creative Managers and Social Media Associate.

Experience will include:  

  • Shooting, editing and producing short videos with interviews and b-roll, including closed captioning and music 
  • Developing and creating digital and print graphics for a variety of needs, including board presentations, town hall meetings and social media campaigns  
  • Establishing branded digital products like landing pages, social media accounts and ad accounts; writing and writing and scheduling social media copy, and supporting the creation of content calendars 

EDUCATION

  • Currently enrolled at a four-year college or university

  • Pursuing a degree in public relations, communications, social media, design, videography or a related field

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Shooting, editing and producing short videos with interviews and b-roll, including closed captioning and music

  • Developing and creating digital and print graphics for a variety of needs, including board presentations, town hall meetings and social media campaigns

  • Establishing branded digital products like landing pages, social media accounts and ad accounts; writing and writing and scheduling social media copy, and supporting the creation of content calendars

REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability at least 3 days per week

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines across several clients at once

  • For creative positions, demonstrated experience with the Adobe suite, a firm understanding of basic design principles and comfort using video equipment

  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, including how to make content stand out and increase engagement

  • Demonstrated ability to understand a brand and market it in an effective, authentic way

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with or interest in social media advertising and Google Ads

  • Experience with or interest in digital asset management

  • Prior experience in public relations
