Charlotte Merrick is a Director in our Philadelphia office. She has 10+ years of experience in strategic communications spanning higher education, municipal government, and non-profits.

Before joining Ceisler Media in 2026, Charlotte focused on digital communications at the University of Pennsylvania where she promoted faculty research, student achievements, and academic programs for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and led digital engagement initiatives for alumni at the Wharton School.

In 2020, Charlotte transitioned to public service at the City of Philadelphia, working for the Philadelphia Department of Commerce, the Mayor’s Office of Communications, and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. As Communications Director, she led strategy for social media, media and public relations, event communications, and crisis response efforts and developed communications plans for large-scale events like the Broad Street Run, capital improvement projects like the FDR Park Plan, and summer workforce recruitment.

Charlotte graduated with a B.A. in English from Roanoke College and received an M.A. in English from The George Washington University. She lives in Philadelphia’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood with her husband, two dogs, and cat.
