ISSUE

The mixed-use Prickett Preserve at Edgewood is located on 36 acres of land in Lower Bucks County, Pa., across the street from the popular Shady Brook Farm. It creates a much-needed link between the Corporate Center and the Historical Edgewood Village, but faced concerns from nearby residents about increased congestion.  

STRATEGY

Ceisler Media coordinated a public relations campaign to inform township officials, residents and business owners about the benefits of the walkable village, home to a grocery store, pharmacy and bank. The communications and outreach efforts generated significant support from advocates who publicly spoke in favor of developing the project.  

RESULT 

By establishing a digital presence and managing media relations at events that were attended by hundreds of residents, Ceisler Media’s work assisted the development team to obtain the necessary approvals to receive the requested zoning and the adoption of the final site plans. The successful land development project delivered more than 200 luxury apartments, several new retail sites and a Wegman’s grocery store.
