Keegan Gibson is a Senior Director, leading the team and operations in our Pittsburgh office. His knowledge of issues and the political process in Western Pennsylvania, Harrisburg and Washington, D.C. helps clients move the needle on public policy and public opinion.
Keegan often focuses on issue-based campaigns, working alongside decision influencers to help clients achieve their desired outcome at the Capitol. His work includes everything from coordinating grassroots supporters and assembling coalitions to writing content for social or digital media.
Keegan also helps several Ceisler Media clients involved in organ donation advocacy work, including an effort that culminated in legislation that revamps Pennsylvania’s organ donation laws.
In 2016, he was named by the Western Pennsylvania news and media website The Incline as a member of the inaugural class of “Who’s Next,” a list of the region’s best and brightest under-40 professionals in varied fields.
Keegan joined the Ceisler Media team in 2013, after working as managing editor of PoliticsPA. He got his start in campaigns as director of new media for U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter – before and after the famous party switch. Keegan later managed a campaign for state House in rural Pennsylvania.
He graduated from American University in Washington, D.C., with a degree in international relations. Afterward, he spent a year serving in AmeriCorps NCCC, completing projects in Colorado, Illinois and Louisiana, and assisting with Hurricane Ike relief efforts in Texas.
Keegan grew up in Carlisle, Pa. He and his wife Lindsay live in Bellevue with their son, Sam.
