Joey Georgy is an Associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office, where he works with a variety of clients, performing duties ranging from developing social media content to pitching story ideas that highlight client programs. His experience working on political campaigns and a weak golf game have helped Joey develop a tenacious work ethic and very thick skin.  

Joey joined the team in 2020 and served as an intern for more than two years while studying at West Virginia University, where he graduated with dual degrees in political science and communication studies. He enjoys getting to work with such a diverse range of clients and gaining knowledge about an equally diverse range of issues.  

Before joining Ceisler Media, he worked in Washington, D.C. for West Virginia U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, gaining useful insight into the legislative process while providing constituent services for those in his home state. Prior to his stint on Capitol Hill, Joey worked on several political campaigns in West Virginia during the 2018 election cycle.  

Joey lives in Wheeling, W.V. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, playing pick-up basketball at his local YMCA, and the occasional round of golf.
